Does anyone know of a statistic with men and women that are living with the genital herpes virus in America? How common is it?

One out of 5 people has genital herpes. More women than men have it 1 out of 4 versus 1 out of 5. This is probably because women catch it easier due to the type of skin in contact (Penis skin is thicker than vaginal skin). Many people don't even know they have it.
